i've checked out some of those.... i know one of them gives the technical specs of the gant bridge, like how much disc space it takes up or somethin like that.

I remember one in Duke Nukem...
there was a cave, that you had to cheat to get to, but once inside, there was a message on the wall.
"you're not supposed to be here"

There was a really cool one... it was in Doom 2 or Quake, can't remember... that after you beat the game, you could get in a secret hallway, and there were shrines of all the developers of the game with photos... I think it was Quake. It was neat.

I love the MGS games... there's always little eggs all over them too.

In MGS2 you've got some poster of past project done by Kojima and stuff like that. The Vulcan Raven fig is also a nice touch.

In MGS3 anyone tried to call Sigint while you're inside the box? It's hilarious. It's not really an easter eggs, but a cool little touch anyway [img]smile.gif[/img]

I downloaded a map for Jedi Academy...you can go into the subway system...there's Star Wars movie posters all over the place...
not an egg, either, but kinda cute.

Remember Dark Forces, the Star Wars themed Doom like game?

If you look at the map at this one point (the glacier/snow level) there was the outline of Max's head (from Sam & Max) in the outline view.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Oh ya, that was the Max from Sam and Max. A comic strip by Steve Purcell that appeared in Lucarsarts's printed catalog thing for awhile- and they had their own game. Actually a year ago I heard there was going to be a new Sam/Max game in 3-D.

Also, in that level if you do something (either shoot max or civilians, I forget) Max starts blasting you with his pistol.
